About us

Our Story

My life has been one big yip.

I didn’t learn the term “the yips” until I started playing golf as an adult. But looking back, I realized I’d been experiencing them my entire life stepping out of batter’s box in Little League, stumbling through a prayer at the dinner table, talking to girls in high school, presenting in business meetings, my serve in both pickleball and volleyball… and finally missing a putt on the 18th hole for an almost record low score.

After explaining my golf struggles to my brother, it became clear: I needed something to help with the yips. That’s where the idea for Yip Juice was born.

I set out to create a drink made with simple ingredients that support calm energy and relaxed focus—backed by science. The goal was to recreate that feeling you get after a great vacation: grounded, clear-headed, and ready to perform without the nerves or jitters.

The lemon flavor was inspired by my wife’s love for meyer lemons. And the more I shared the idea behind Yip Juice, the more I realized I wasn’t alone everyone has their own version of the yips.

It’s my hope that this lemon shot helps you in those high-pressure moments, when you want to show up as your best self.
